The Secret Letters of the Monk Who Sold His Ferrari Robin Sharma 9780062226082 Books Reviews

  • Through his educational storytelling Robin Sharma takes us around the world to teach us the key principles of life. Following in the footsteps of his other "Monk" books, we get to learn those principles by following a story of a person dealing with their own issues in life. Beautiful descriptions of places all around the world (which I am sure are taken from Robin's own travels as an author and speaker) are a perfect backdrop to the story of discovery. Having already visited half the places in the book, it made me want to visit the other half, but I am still waiting for Robin to send me on a quest to pick up talisman in those cities -)

For those who are at crossroads in their life or not happy with their work-life balance I thoroughly recommend this book!
  • A friend insisted that I read this book when I was telling him how lost I felt after my separation. I started it, put it down, then picked it up again and flew through it. It is wonderful! A life changer! I will read many times too. Great inspiration!!!!!!
  • This book contains high-quality wisdom for personal growth. Recommended if you are looking for answers on your future, or in case you are troubled with your current life. Learn to be humbled about the everyday gifts life itself is granting to us, and to become an improved version of yourself by practising self-discipline rituals. Looking forward to read more books by Robin.
  • This was an easy read with a deep message. If you ever want to travel, take this travel guide with you. You will meet people you wish to be like, and you will meet people you don't want to be reminded of in the mirror. The book is well written, sometimes the deep thoughts said simply travel best.
  • I started off slow reading this book but as I start to discover the true meaning of each chapters, I was hooked and loved the book.
  • ThiS book puts the life we are living and the life we should be living into perspective in an unique way. Very easy read full of information and insight.
  • I like Robin Sharma's writing. This book reinforced most of the things he talked about in his other books - The Monk who sold his Ferrari, Greatness Guide etc.
Also, I enjoyed the story and a "Tour" of different places mentioned in this book.
Of all the quotes mentioned in this book or other books of Robin Sharma, my favorite is - Run Towards Your Fears. It has helped me personally.
I also ordered - The Saint, The Surfer, The CEO and I am looking forward to an enlightening reading.
  • Quick read set amongst some of the most beautiful places in the world. Important life lessons that we all have learned, but seem to forget somewhere along the rat race.
