Is Kylie after his money to or will she be the one that keeps his attention
• Roy, a billionaire, and Kylie a nature blogger, meet and have some intense chemistry. Roy has huge trust issues as most women have only used him for status or money.

• Kylie, a travel blogger with a shady past, sees Roy, billionaire jewelry designer, on a flight to California. As the story progresses her past comes back to haunt her, his past makes a surprise visit and they both must learn to trust. This quick instant connection romance read has action, adventure, steam, and sarcasm.

• i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story about a young woman named Kylie who travels and writes a blog. When Kylie travels to Jade Cove to write about it, she accidentally bumps into a man in the airport while trying to get the attention of another man she saw on her plane before he left. The other man was Roy Butler, a famous jewelry designer who she met years ago. Roy was attracted to Kylie and knew he knew her from somewhere. When Kylie was out hiking later, she heard wind chimes and fell in the yard of a cabin in the woods. Roy owned the cabin and he was surprised to see Kylie in his yard. Roy remembered where he knew Kylie from but he still was attracted to him and wanted her in his bed. Roy flirted with Kylie and offered her a guestroom in his cabin. Roy also learned his ex-wife was snooping around looking for his cabin and his jade mine. When Roy and Kylie connect the next day, Kylie thinks they may have a chance to have a relationship until danger comes. I liked this story. I thought it a good quick read. I loved Kylie and Roy together. It seemed like a case of instant love and Roy wanted to protect Kylie and it caused him to realize what she meant to him. Good one.
• I loved reading this book! We start with Kylie on a plane, hating to fly, thinking how she wanted to run into the rich guy in first class. She retrieves her backpack and it felt heavier than normal,but was in a hurry to catch up to the first class passenger. She accidentally runs into a mysterious stranger who caught her, she misses the chance to meet that guy.
  Next we meet Roy who sits, literally on a giant made empire. The whole way home he could only think about the woman at the airport, thinking he knew her face from somewhere.
  Here's where the best part they meet again when he catches Kylie on his property holding a jade stone she found on the trail. Sparks fly, he accuses her of trying to steal from him again. You want to know why it's again? You'll have to read the book to find out! It was exciting and so much sexual tension between the characters and very host steamy sexual scenes with distrust, break in and kidnapping. Alexa McLean truly kept the story interesting and compelling. You just wanted to keep reading! I highly recommend this book!

  Years ago when Kylie is trying to pay for school she steals jewelry from none other than Roy Butler, a famous and quite wealthy jade jewelry designer. He catches her but she gets away so when they meet in the airport it’s déjà vu, but neither can figure out why they recognize the other.
  The intrigue comes in later when Kylie mistakenly comes upon Roy’s “hideout” in the woods and tangles with…too much information. Read this book to get the rest of the story. You won’t be disappointed. There are some really deliciously juicy scenes between Kylie and Roy and a super epilogue. If you want to see bad guys and bad ex-wives get their due but leave the good H and h with their own HEA, you’ll want this book. I volunteered to review an ARC.
• Although this has romance, some steam, action and adventure, the story and characters and surroundings are not believable at all! While I found my way through the entire book, my favorite part of the book was the epilogue! The story seems rushed, jumps all over, and leaves many loose ends, hot and cold spots and events/places/and characters that just don't make sense. I think the author could do some reworking of this story and make it shine. As written, it doesn't work!
